Making yourself more marketable for internships, jobs and grad school
One of my favorite TED Talks was given over fifteen years ago by an English educator named Ken Robinson. Titled “Do schools kill creativity?” this TED Talk has been viewed over seventy-five million times and, by TED’s metrics, is the most viewed TED Talk of all time.

Recommendations for Spring 2021
Our basic recommendation is that you do not use the in-class equipment. Instead, conduct any class that has students who are attending via Zoom as if everyone was attending remotely (via "ASU Sync"). Have each student who is attending class in-person bring a laptop and headphones; and teach the class from your own laptop (with headphones). Note that headphones are important for reducing echoes and other audio
Oftentimes when you are assigned a course to teach, your Canvas course will have been copied from an older version of the course. While this helps maintain consistent content is being taught over the various sections and sessions, it may also mean that the grading elements outlined in your syllabus may not reflect what is actually built in Canvas.
We recommend that instructors review the following aspects in preparation for their courses, at least two weeks before the first day of class:
