Clubs and organizations

Club Italiano aims to create a multicultural environment at ASU and to foster the growth, learning, and understanding of the Italian culture and language. All students are welcomed to explore Italian culture, practice language skills and connect through games, movies, dinners and engaging discussions.

This organization works to help students continue their ASL journeys outside of the classroom in a group setting. We focus on building community between ASL students with local volunteer opportunities, game-based meetings and fun get-togethers to practice signing! To join you must have previous ASL knowledge or be currently enrolled in an ASL course, and you must inquire with an officer via email or conversation.

Students of any major gather to celebrate the German language and culture with enriching experiences and opportunities.

Develop skills and understanding of French through celebratory cultural events at Tempe campus.

Members are able to practice Chinese and English language skills, learn about Chinese culture, and celebrate major cultural holidays such as the Moon Festival and Lunar New Year.

We are a group of like-minded students who are interested in the Japanese language and Japanese culture, and wish to expand knowledge of Japan to other students who are also interested through interactive activities and social events.

The Russian Conversation Club is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive space for all who are interested in the Russian language and culture, regardless of background or proficiency level. Speakers and students of the Russian language are welcomed to take part in cultural and linguistic enrichment. 

SPAGrad represents ASU's Spanish graduate students, addressing their concerns and fostering informed decisions to enhance life within the Spanish Department. SPAGrad representatives will serve as direct liaisons with the Spanish Department faculty and administrators, the Graduate College and University governance.

EASGrad is an organization that represents the students admitted to the East Asian Literatures and Civilisations (EALC) PhD and MA programs in the School of International Letters and Cultures. Members receive opportunities to connect with peers, gain access to events organized by EASGrad, and express concerns to the Graduate College, SILC, relevant departments, faculty and administrators.

Prepares doctoral students for a variety of careers through events, resources and insights from professionals in fields beyond academia.

Sigma Delta Pi is the only honor society devoted exclusively to supporting Spanish students in four-year colleges with enriching opportunities.
