Chinese Competitions will take place in MU 238 Apache, MU 240 Navajo, and MU 248 Rincon. Please contact Xia Zhang if you have questions about the rooms for each competition.
Chinese speech competition
Students compete individually in prepared recitation. Recitation materials are adapted from song lyrics in popular animated movies. Performance length for each contestant is approximately:
- One minute for the novice-mid to novice-high group
- Two minutes for the intermediate-low to intermediate-mid group
- Three minutes for the intermediate high to advance-low group
