Biography

Mr. Tim Ashe, Jr. (PhD in Spanish Linguistics and MA in Bilingual and Spanish/ESL Education) is currently a faculty associate  in Spanish Language, Linguistics, and Culture at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.  He has over 10 years of experience teaching adult and adolescent students of all ages in both Spanish and English and specializes in Applied Linguistics research.  His research interests include Intercultural Competence and Sensitivity, Learning Culture through Film, Technology in Language Education (CALL and MALL), Bilingualism, Study Abroad Immersion Programs as a tool for learning language and ESL.
