Biography

Miroslawa Oginska has been teaching Introductory and Intermediate Polish at Arizona State University’s School of International Letters & Cultures since August 2008. She is also Honors Faculty of Barret College. Before she started working at ASU, she has taught and researched at Pedagogical University of Kraków, University of Economics, Pontifical University of John Paul II, and the Academy of Music – Kraków ( Poland ).

Her educational background includes M.A. in Russian from Pedagogical University of Kraków, M.M. in Classical Voice and Acting from Kraków Conservatory of Music, Summa cum Laude from Kraków Pontifical Academy of Theology.

M.A. in Russian from Pedagogical University of Krakow, M.M. in Classical Voice and Acting from Krakow Conservatory of Music, Summa cum Laude from Krakow Pontifical Academy of Theology. 

Research Interests

Reproductive-creative method of teaching Russian language.

Work History

<p>Oginska is also a versatile opera singer ( soprano ), who is frequently performing as a soloist or chamber musician; conducts choir and chamber orchestra. Miroslawa performed as a Singer- Soloist with Krakow Opera and Operetta and participated in Stuttgardt International Bach Akademie ( Director Helmut Rilling ). She was a member of Krakow Philharmonics ( Director Sir James Levine ) and  Come Prima  - an early music ensemble specializing in Renaissance and Baroque. Miroslawas extensive repertoire has been presented in individual performances in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, Russia, Vatican, Canada and USA. She is also a member of the International Association of Teacher of Singing in WrocBaw ( Poland ) and Dresden ( Germany ).</p>
