Emeritus Professor Mark Curran taught Spanish and Portuguese languages and respective cultures: Survey of Literature of Spain, Brazil; Spanish, Spanish-American and Brazilian Civilization. He has published extensively, before and after retirement, on Brazilian folk-popular literature and research-teaching-travel books to diverse countries. During his retirement he has lectured on the National Geographic Explorer (LEX): Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Cabo Verde Republic and Madeira.
