Biography

Eun Jung Lee's educational background includes a master's in TESOL from University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and a bachelor's in English and business from Sogang University in Seoul, Korea. She is currently a doctoral candidate at University of Hawaii-Manoa and lecturer in Korean in the School of International Letters and Cultures at Arizona State University. She has previously taught at Sangmyoung University, Seoul, Korea (2008-2009), Sogang University, Seoul, Korea (2009-2011), University of California-Los Angeles (2011-2012) and University of Hawaii-Manoa (2013-2016). She joined ASU in 2016. 

Her research interests range from curriculum design and materials development for Korean language programs, second language assessment and acquisition to discourse analysis and discourse-functional grammar, Korean grammaticalization, teaching Korean language and culture through media.
